Robot assistant “Lio”

F&P Robotics provides the robot assistant “Lio”, a mobile, safe and skilled service robot with grasping capabilities, autonomous navigation, speech recognition, various teach-in methods and interactive skills. Lio’s skills include drink/snack offering, transportation of material, guiding, activation, information and entertainment. Lio is a high-tech product with a friendly look, designed to be easy to use and accepted by both health care professionals and the people taken care of. Lio uses various artificial intelligence algorithms e.g. for vision, decision making and proactive behavior. Lio can be programmed through a browser-based software using Python script language. ROS is supported as well. The use of Lio is convenient with touch sensors on the robot, speech or tablet input.
