Throughout the last few years multiple open calls to provide financial support to third parties have been executed within DIH-HERO in order to accelerate innovation in robotics for healthcare and facilitate collaboration on various innovations across Europe.
The COVID 19- Open Call 2020 was an emergency call meant to support healthcare professionals in the fight against COVID-19.
The Technology Demonstrator Open Calls are aimed to stimulate cross-border collaboration among pan European SME’s and slightly larger companies. The projects had to demonstrate the feasibility of new, innovative and enhances robotic solutions for the healthcare sector.
Technology Transfer Experiment Open Call 2020 was aimed to boost the transfer of innovative technology from outside the robotics and healthcare domains, to solve unanswered clinical questions. This call is a contribution to overcome implementation hurdles that hinder the generating of new businesses in the healthcare robotic market.
COVID-19 Response and Deployment Call was aimed to accelerate the embedding of robotic applications in healthcare-related settings and to enable the smooth deployment of new, effective robotic-based solutions that address emerging COVID-19 challenges. The solutions could be revolving around COVID-19 response, recovery and support in daily challenges that currently exist due to the pandemic as well as post COVID-19 challenges. The projects will have a development and deployment phase with DIH-HERO support.
The Dissemination Voucher open call 2023 was meant to create higher visibility of the innovative solutions developed in healthcare robotics, generating further dissemination material about robots and use cases that can be utilized to promote the added values and benefits of robotic solutions and their deployment in the healthcare sector.
