The Ave Maria Foundation is a private non-profit institution, recognized by the Generalitat de Catalunya, that since 1987 has offered specialized care to adults with intellectual disabilities. As it detects new needs, provides the necessary resources with strict criteria of quality and sustainability, currently, its activities benefit more than 800 people.
It has a long history of innovation and development in the field of disability that has led it to the creation of the Institute of Robotics for Dependency, today, an independent organization.
It offers different services such as a care facility for people with disabilities, a network of houses for people with mental illness or a program for elder lliving alone at their homes. It has signed agreements with public and private bodies that grants them access to final users and beneficiaries. It has extensive experience in leading and collaborating in competitive proposals and has a fully dedicated team.
