Abstract

WHO estimates that in order to achieve SDG 3 on health and well-being, an additional 10 million healthcare professionals will be needed worldwide by 2030.  Yuman is a Danish deep-tech startup addressing the major challenge in the European healthcare systems, the shortage of nurses. We are developing healthcare-centered Autonomous Mobile Robots(AMR), designed to assist nurses by automating last-minute transport tasks, such as delivering food, medical equipment, and test samples. Yuman’s robots are currently assisting nurses in the surgery department of Capio Private Hospital, and the Neurological department of Bispebjerg Hospital.
